Dumfries & Galloway Wedding Videographer
Dumfries & Galloway is home to some of the most beautiful wedding settings in Scotland; from countryside marquees and coastal celebrations overlooking Loch Ryan to venues like Ardwell Glasshouse, Glenwhan Gardens, and the North West Castle Hotel in Stranraer.
Based in Stranraer and filming weddings throughout Dumfries & Galloway and across Scotland, I create relaxed cinematic wedding films that feel honest to the atmosphere of the day itself.

Ardwell Glasshouse Wedding Film
“Honestly that's absolutely amazing. We have literally just watched it for the 10th time and honestly Rory is still crying” - Rachael & Rory
Rachael and Rory’s wedding at Ardwell Glasshouse was filled with fun moments, emotional speeches, and one of the most beautiful countryside settings in Dumfries & Galloway.
North West Castle Hotel Wedding
“Watched it all! So so lovely. Had me crying about 1 min into the highlight vid“ - Andrew & Kirsty
From Ardwell Church, to Glenwhan Gardens then closing the night at the North West Castle Hotel Andrew and Kirsty's wedding was an absolute blast. The moment ABBA started up the energy did not drop and I'm so happy to have been part of it.
Farm Wedding in Dumfries & Galloway
“Awww I love it thank you soooo much!!!!! I must have watched it 100 times already it's soo good!” - John & Elaine
John & Elaine’s wedding was a perfect reflection of everything that makes countryside weddings in Dumfries & Galloway feel so personal. Hosting the day on their family farm after transforming the barn into their wedding venue created an atmosphere that felt relaxed, intimate, and completely centred around the people closest to them.
Honest storytelling with a cinematic touch.
I believe weddings are at their best when couples are fully present in the moment rather than constantly thinking about the camera.
My approach to wedding filmmaking is calm and documentary focused. Rather than heavily directing the day or staging moments repeatedly, I aim to quietly capture the atmosphere as it naturally unfolds: the reactions during the ceremony, conversations between guests, emotional speeches, and all the smaller moments that often become the memories people treasure most years later.
That doesn’t mean disappearing entirely. There are always moments throughout the day where a little gentle guidance helps, particularly during couples portraits, but the focus is always on keeping things relaxed and natural rather than turning the wedding into a production.
The result is a wedding film that feels honest to the atmosphere of the day itself; cinematic, emotional, and grounded in genuine moments rather than performances for the camera.
